Building Bridges Family Music Festival (SW Portland) @ Portland Children's Museum

Red Yarn’s full band is thrilled to be playing at Portland Children’s Museum’s first annual Building Bridges Family Music Festival, a community-building, tune-filled weekend designed to build bridges in peace and friendship through music and play. Families from the Portland metropolitan area will converge at the Museum for a weekend of live music, dancing, and interactive, hands-on experiences.

World-class entertainment from award-winning nationally touring musicians and DJ’s—as well as favorite artists from Portland’s vibrant children’s music community—will light up indoor and outdoor stages through the Museum. With dozens of performances and activities, partnerships with community organizations, and thousands of expected attendees of all ages, the festival is designed to celebrate music and childhood in a welcoming, accessible, and inclusive environment.

Priced to be affordable, any proceeds will support the Museum’s mission to develop innovative problem-solvers through playful learning experiences that strengthen relationships between children and their world.

Thanks to Taborspace for hosting this weekly show in their beautiful sanctuary! Taborspace is a neighborhood gathering place where everyone is welcome. In their 36,000 square foot historic church building, parents socialize over coffee while their children play, students study, entrepreneurs dream and develop, professionals work, holistic healers make well, musicians practice and perform, creatives make and teach, and everyone finds their niche. Taborspace are a nonprofit organization committed to cultivating connected community, partnered with Mt. Tabor Presbyterian Church in Portland, Oregon.
